Did you know that EVIT’s Barbering Students offer several barbering services to the public? They’re available between 8:30 am - 10:00 am and 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm. And a haircut for EVIT students is just $5!

The iTec store is open and is selling refurbished desktops, laptops, computer accessories and more. The iTec store also will repair your electronics; cell phones, iPads, laptops, gaming consoles, and more. All labor is free. Come see us at building 12, next to the barbering class from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Hey EVIT Pals! The EVIT Fashion Program needs your help! Bring in your gently used clothing, home goods, books, and toys! Collection bins can be found in the lobbies of Building’s 1, 14 and 16. OR you can bring your bagged-up goods directly to the fashion classroom in Building 1 - just look for the glowing doorway! The Fashion program is accepting donations through the end of this semester!

Students & Staff:

The 3D Animation department will be holding an art supply drive to benefit Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona. Free Arts provides arts programs for free to children and young people in Arizona who have experienced trauma, abuse, and neglect to help them process their trauma. Check with your instructor to find out what’s on their wish list, or check the flyers posted around campus. You can drop off your donations in the second year 3D Animation classroom, in Building 1 Room 2045 through December 10.

Our last Gratitude fact for November is-- Gratitude improves physical health. Grateful people experience fewer aches and pains and they report feeling healthier. Not surprisingly, grateful people are also more likely to take care of their health, they exercise more often and have longer life longevity.

So as we approach the Holidays take time to mentally note and enjoy the things in your life you are grateful for.
